The Operating Theater provides audiences with unusual, original, innovative, thought provoking performance, creating art that can only be fully experienced in a live forum. We experiment with perception and explore the visceral subjectivity of the human experience. We create high quality productions of lasting value.
In conjunction with Doctored Pictures, The Operating Theater channels original work from the stage to other media, and investigates ways in which the two meet utilizing experimentaion, multi-media, new technology, or combined art forms.

An eminent interior designer, in love with her crystalline art collection, is driven to eat glass. The play dissects the marriage of art and commerce, inviting the viewer to experience first hand the fine line between patron and voyeur.
